Background & Training:
Ericka Fitzgerald MIACP is a fully accredited Psychotherapist with an Honours Degree from Ericka holds a BSc in Psychotherapy from PCI College and Middlesex University. She has been working as a therapist since 2017 and facilitates collaborative therapy through integrative styles. At the heart of her work is safety and empathy based on her core development in humanistic counselling, but she has further training and experience in psychodynamic therapy. Ericka values the relationship between client and therapist as the most important aspect of her work and works with her clients to establish a secure sense of trust and belonging. This is the foundation to a safe working space where clients can explore what may be causing distress.
Ericka has dealt with a wide range of presenting issues, these include

- Low self-esteem
- Family breakup.
- Loss and change
At the heart of Ericka’s approach comes safety and non-judgment, expressed through kindness, empathy and compassion. Ericka creates a safe, therapeutic environment for clients to present their issues without critique, and works with her clients to solve these issues at their own pace.
Ericka has has completed additional CPD in areas such as
- somatic movement
- mindfulness and compassion for self-esteem issues
- the influence social media has on social anxiety
- suicide intervention
