
Gertrude rufai is a student Psychotherapist and qualified Mental Health Nurse with over 6 years’ experience working with an array of mental health issues in facilities like St Patrick’s Hospital. She is accredited by NAPCP and holds a BA in Mental health nursing from NUIG, pending her upcoming Masters in Integrative Psychotherapy from the Irish College of Humanities and applied sciences (ICHAS. )
Gertrude works from an integrative perspective with a focus on person-centred, existential and psychodynamic approaches. Gertrude has a wide range of experience working with individuals struggling with mood, depression, anxiety, poor self-esteem, suicidality, self-harm, stress, relationship break down, loneliness, isolation, relationship issues, work life balance as well as others.
Gertrude works with adolescents from 16 years of age and attends regular clinical supervision in line with NAPCP code of ethics. Gertrude continues to develop her therapeutic skills though additional trainings in the below:

- Basic life support.
Gertrude provides a non-judgmental environment for individuals to address their struggles with support, empathy, kindness and confidentiality. Gertrude’s priority is to provide a safe environment and a compassionate relationship to aid clients to reach their full potential.
