Background & Training:
Born in Dublin, Chiara Antolovi MIACP holds a BA Hons degree in Counselling & Psychotherapy from Dublin Business School, which consisted of 4 years of training. A fully qualified and accredited therapist, Chiara works within the code of ethics and practice as set out by the IACP.
Chiara is an Integrative Therapist using Psychodynamic and Humanistic approaches. Where appropriate she can also use solution focused and evidence based Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT).
Chiara is our relationship or couples therapistand has completed an accredited training in couples counselling with the Cherished Family Project and also further relationship counselling training using Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT Level 1).
Chiara also works with individual clients and has experience with a wide range of presenting issues including but not limited to abuse, abandonment, anxiety, stress, depression, low self esteem, relationship issues and anger management.
Chiara is also very active helping clients facing distress in the workplace and is an active part of the Health Assured Employee Assistance Program (EAP) team. This is time limited, solution focused work.
Chiara also has experience helping clients through new methods of counselling like the use of video counselling sessions.
Chiara creates a warm, safe, non-judgemental space for one to one counselling with adults. She attends regular clinical supervision and continues to develop her skills with CPD trainings, having recently completed
- An additional certificate on Mental Health Issues.
- A Bereavement and loss workshop based on newer theories (Beyond Phases, Stages and Grief).
- The two day ASIST suicide prevention program.
