Background and Experience:

My name is Tetiana. I am a clinical psychologist and psychotherapist with an integrative, solution-focused approach built over 9 years of practice.  Born in Ukraine, I have been living and practicing in Ireland for over three years. My role is to safely accompany you in your process and I believe that everyone has the potential to recover and move to the next level of their life and career.  I structure sessions collaboratively to suit your goals and pace: stabilisation and clarity first, followed by structural work with causes and sustainable behavioural change. Over the past three years I have done over 2,000 individual counselling sessions. When you work with me, you get evidence-based therapy, confidentiality, clear frameworks and measurable steps.

Approaches:

Integrative, person-centred and transaction-oriented therapy. Structured, focused format where we agree on goals, progress metrics and timelines. I combine methods depending on the request and stage of the process.

Trauma-informed module. Working with the effects of trauma and PTSD: stabilising the nervous system, reconstructing traumatic memories, correcting dysfunctional beliefs, teaching self-regulation skills. I use elements of MCBT and modern exposure and cognitive processing protocols.

Somatically Informed Practices. Gentle bodywork, stress reduction, working with underlying causes of psychosomatic illnesses; grounding techniques, breathing and sensorimotor exercises, polyvagal perspective to restore energy levels and stress resistance.

Cognitive-behavioural unit. Identifying thought traps, restructuring beliefs, skill training and behavioural experiments to consolidate new experiences.

Narrative component. Rewriting dominant (‘stuck’) stories about self, role, boundaries and success; forming a supportive, realistic story of change.

Psychodynamic and attachment optics. Gentle exploration of recurring patterns in relationships and their roots; developing mature autonomy and the capacity for intimacy without self-sabotage.

Specialisations:

Trauma therapy and PTSD. Acute/chronic trauma, relationship trauma, effects of violence, effects of childhood trauma in adults. Panic attacks, anxiety, depression.

Psychosomatics. Working with bodily symptomatology related to stress and emotional burnout.

Emigrant crisis and adaptation. Survivor’s guilt, loss of status, culture shock, loneliness, discrimination, search for a foothold and new identity.

Burnout and anxiety disorders. Overwork, panic attacks, generalised anxiety, perfectionism, imposter syndrome, depressive disorder.

Crises and losses. Divorce/divorce, life transitions, grieving, redefining values.

Entrepreneurs and leaders. Entrepreneur personality transformation: expanding the “container” for goals, dealing with fear of success/money, boundaries, sustainable leadership without self-sabotage.

Working with men. Requests for recognition and hearing, strengthening of the core of values, maturation of personality and responsibility.
Ethics and process safety.

Clear agreements, transparency of methods, confidentiality, working within the area of expertise, regular supervision.
