Sarah Corby, MIAHIP
Psychotherapist
Background & Experience:
I hold an MA in Humanistic, Integrative Psychotherapy from Dublin Counselling and Therapy Centre and am a fully accredited member of IAHIP. With a background in social work, I have many years’ experience supporting individuals and families through complex life experiences, including working with marginalised communities, older adults, psychiatric services, primary care, domestic violence and adoption.
Areas of Interest:
I have experience working therapeutically with early life trauma, bereavement and loss, anxiety, relationship issues, suicidal ideation and identity issues. Alongside my individual therapy work, I have facilitated therapeutic groups, creating supportive spaces where people can connect, reflect, and grow alongside others.
With a special interest in the lasting impact of trauma and how it resides in the body, attachment difficulties and shame; my work is grounded in compassion, curiosity and the belief that healing occurs within safe, non-judgmental relationships. I am passionate about creating a warm, empowering space where clients can feel heard, understood and can explore their experiences at their own pace.
