Pia Fennell is a pre-accredited psychotherapist registered with IACP and holds a BSc of Science in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy from IICP, Dublin, a BA in Literature and a M.Phil in Literature of Trinity College, Dublin. She has worked as a volunteer counsellor at the Dublin Rape Crisis Centre and has a background in teaching.

Pia’s work integrates Humanistic psychotherapy with a variety of other models, with an emphasis on Existentialism and Psychodynamic therapy.  She works collaboratively with each client in a way that brings their lived experiences, cultural background and personal values into the room, so as to create a space for the entire self. She uses mindfulness, guided meditation and creative therapeutic techniques when appropriate, to help clients engage with past trauma and address negative patterns of behavior. She has experience working with grief and bereavement, sexual trauma, addiction and anxiety.

Pia is available to work with adults, both in short- and long-term treatment.
