Meadhbh Foley
Psychotherapist
Background & Experience:
As a pre–accredited psychotherapist, I bring a unique blend of professional and academic experience to my practice. My First Class Honours BSc in Counselling & Psychotherapy provides a strong foundation in client-centred principles, while my First Class Honours BA in Anthropology informs my holistic and culturally nuanced approach. I believe that true healing involves integrating the past with present-moment awareness. I work collaboratively with clients to compassionately explore their unique story and expand their window of tolerance, finding new ways of relating to themselves and the world.
I welcome clients from all backgrounds, offering a safe space for them to explore challenges related to identity, confidence, and belonging, amongst other issues. My therapeutic work is enriched by a personal commitment to mindfulness and mind–body practices, which I view as essential tools for both processing the past and fostering resilience in the present moment.
