Halibo Fessuh
Trainee Psychotherapist
Halibo is a counsellor and psychotherapist completing training with PCI College, undertaking the BSc Counselling and Psychotherapy programme. His training is Integrative, grounded in humanistic-existential theory, CBT, and applied ethical practice. He works from a client-centred, relational approach, with careful attention to boundaries, confidentiality, safeguarding, and reflective supervision, supporting clients in a respectful and collaborative way.
Alongside his clinical training, Halibo brings over 25 years of experience supporting and accompanying young people and communities in educational and faith-based settings, working with Salesians of Don Bosco. He holds an MA in Philosophy and a BA in Theology, and has a specific interest in philosophical anthropology. Halibo has taught philosophy, which informs his thoughtful and reflective way of working.
Halibo is a trainee counsellor and psychotherapist with a particular interest in psychospiritual integration and whole-person wellbeing. His approach is informed by his background in philosophy, theology, and psychotherapy, and he attends to the emotional, relational, cultural, and spiritual dimensions of lived experience. Grounded in presence, meaning, and hope, he aims to offer a respectful, ethically grounded, and a relational, integratively informed therapeutic space that supports insight, growth, and meaningful change.
Halibo was born in Ethiopia and speaks Saho/Irob, Tigrinya, Amharic, English, and Italian. He is an IACP student member, committed to ethical care, professional development, and supervised practice.
