Psychotherapy Training and Accreditation

Elizabeth holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Counselling and Psychotherapy from the Institute of Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy (IICP) and is a fully accredited member of the Irish Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (IACP).

She engages in regular clinical supervision and places great value on ongoing personal and professional development. Elizabeth actively participates in Continuing Professional Development (CPD) through seminars, workshops, and specialised training.

Counselling and Psychotherapeutic Approach

Elizabeth believes it is essential to create a safe, empathetic, and non-judgmental space that supports emotional healing and personal growth. She collaborates with clients to establish clear therapeutic goals and regularly reviews their progress.

Elizabeth uses an integrative approach, combining a range of therapeutic modalities tailored to each client’s unique needs and preferences.

Her integrative approach includes elements of Psychodynamic Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Person-Centred Therapy, Compassion-Focused Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Schema Therapy, among others.

Counselling Experience and Areas of Interest

Elizabeth works with a diverse range of clients from various cultural, social, and professional backgrounds. She supports individuals experiencing a wide variety of challenges, including stress, personal development, adjustment to change, work-life balance, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties, anxiety, depression, bereavement, and loss.

Elizabeth offers sessions in both English and Italian, available either in person or online.
