Psychotherapist
Ademola is an accredited and qualified psychotherapist who operates from a humanistic and integrative framework. He holds a Higher Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy, a Masters in Psychotherapy, and an Honours BA in Applied Social Studies and Social Care. With over a decade of experience, Ademola has worked with both adolescents and adults facing a range of challenges, including those from difficult backgrounds, experiencing homelessness, and dealing with substance abuse issues.

Throughout his career, Ademola has worked with clients in the community grappling with a variety of complex issues, such as
anxiety,
stress,
relationship difficulties,
self-acknowledgment,
separation,
depression,
OCD,
low self-esteem,
neurodivergence,
existential concerns,
bereavement,
self worth,
setting boundaries,
and sexual/gender identity issues.
Ademola believes that individuals possess the capacity to heal and thrive when provided with the appropriate support, environment and tools. To facilitate this, he creates a nonjudgmental and empathetic space where clients can feel safe and comfortable.
One of his passions is working with cultural awareness and humility, which he sees as an essential component of effective therapy. Ademola employs a client-centered approach, tailored to meet the specific needs of each individual. As a humanistic and integrative psychotherapist, Ademola draws on various therapeutic modalities, including psychodynamic therapy, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Gestalt therapy, existential therapy, and mindfulness techniques, to best support my clients on their journeys.
