Cassandre Francois

 

Education and background

Cassandre Francois MIACP holds a BSc (Hons) in Counselling and Psychotherapy from PCI College, a professional Diploma in Bereavement and Grief studies from City Colleges and a Cert in CBT from Zestlife College.

With a particular interest in Person-Centred and Psychodynamic therapy Cassandre works from an integrative framework drawing on different approaches tailoring therapy to the needs of each client. Cassandre understands each client is unique, and not every individual may benefit from the same treatment approach. 

Cassandre has experience working with individuals of different ethnicity and from diverse cultural backgrounds. She has several years of experience in social care settings working with homelessness, addiction, mental health and with asylum seekers. She has attended numerous workshops including healing the inner child, anger management training, spirituality in psychotherapy and intercultural competences. 

As a fully accredited member of the Irish Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (IACP), Cassandre works with clients struggling with various types of issues including:

Cassandre’s approach aims to help the client understand their issues , and enable the client to work through them. Providing a safe , calm and confidential space, Cassandre works collaboratively and empathically with clients to explore the presenting issues.
